About Us
Our Approach
One lesson our founder, Debby, passed along to each person she trained was an attitude toward helping others. Our method is laid-back — not aggressive. We won’t push you to buy products that you don’t want or can’t afford.
When we come out to your home, our aim is to listen to your needs and educate you on your options. Our hope is that this gives you the opportunity to make the best decision for you, your home, and your family. We want your experience to be personal — not pushy.
Debby often talks about having a “Go-Giver” attitude—someone who goes above and beyond for every customer. We do our best to put that into practice at every opportunity.
There is No Place Like Home!
It might be a cliche’, but it is also true! It’s your “ahhh!!” space, where you relax and put your feet up. It’s where you get away from it all. And where you enjoy some time with your loved ones. We get that. That’s why our design consultants come out to your home to listen and find out what you have in mind. Maybe it’s, “Bring in more light,” or “Close out the noise,” “Keep our vintage charm” or “Give us more curb appeal”. You’ll never hear us say, “your project is too small.” But you also won’t find us the “cheapest in town.” We are particular about the products we sell because we are in it for the long game. Having been in business since 1977, we know what it means to build long term relationships with both our customers and our suppliers. And that means selling high quality products installed by well-qualified professionals. That is what we are about. Almost every day, we hear from previous customers, calling with a new phase or a new project they want us to do for them. That means so much to us—and we are very grateful for it. So, thank you to our founders, Jack Henderson & his daughter, Debby, for teaching us these principles. And thank you to all our customers for giving us the opportunity to enhance and improve your homes. And thank you, for coming to our website. We’d love to meet you, and help you with your project.
Henderson & Daughter
It’s 1977 in a man’s world, how did a company end up being called Henderson & Daughter? “Originally the firm was to be named Jack Henderson Storm Window Company. Del Toro recalls ribbing her father about it, telling him a son who worked as hard as she was doing would get equal billing. Henderson responded after about three months, surprising her with the now well-known business cards that advertise their affiliation as well as their product. “It was his way of saying, ‘You’re right,’ ” she says.” —Henderson & Daughter – from Seattle Woman Magazine “Father & Daughter, Inc.” by: Suzanne Cushing
